Some people argue that “us” represents the Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. According to their insistence, this means that one of the three should have a female image. It is because those who were created in the image of God are male and female. Others also insist that the triune God exists as three separate entities (or persons). If this were the case, three kinds of people should have been created. However, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one which is the male image of God in the light of the Trinity. God the Father and God the Mother are titles that refer to the male image of God and the female image of God. There are many people who are familiar with God the Father but unfamiliar with God the Mother; however, the Bible proves the existence of God the Father and God the Mother from the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation. Jesus Christ taught that God is “our Father in heaven,” and Apostle Paul wrote about “our Mother who is above (heaven)” in the book of Galatians
The Image of God: Male and Female
Mankind Created in the Image of God
The evidence of God the Father and God the Mother appears in the first chapter of Genesis, the first book of the Bible. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. On the last day of Creation, the sixth day, God created mankind.
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.-
God described Himself as “us.” When mankind was created in the image and likeness of God, male and female were made. This means that in the image of God, there exist a male image and a female image.
Therefore, God who created the heavens and the earth and created man in “our” image exists as two: the male image of God and the female image of God.
In the Bible, God is also recorded as “one God,”[1] but this does not mean that there is only God the Father. Adam and Eve, who were created in the image and likeness of God, are two people, but the Bible describes them as “one man” and “one body.”[2][3] Essentially, as Adam and Eve are described as “one body,” God the Father and God the Mother are two Gods, but we can say that they are “one God.”
Elohim, the Plural Noun of God
The Old Testament that was written in Hebrew records God as Elohim (אֱלֹהִים) about 2,500 times. In Genesis, God who created the heavens and the earth and mankind referred to as Elohim.[4] In Hebrew, the singular term meaning God is Eloah (אֱלוֹהַּ). When the suffix -im (ים) is added to Eloah, it becomes the plural term Elohim, which means Gods. This means that God is not one, but more than one.
God the Father and God the Mother
Two thousand years ago, Jesus taught that there is God the Father who is in heaven.
“This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, . . .’ ”
According to the teachings of Jesus, Apostle Paul wrote that there is God the Mother in heaven.
But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.
“Our” refers to the saints who will receive salvation, which includes Apostle Paul. For those who are to be saved, they must receive not only God the Father but also God the Mother.
God’s Divine Nature Abides in All Things
Principle of Life
God created all things by His will,[5] and through all things, we can clearly know God’s divine nature.[6]
Among the things God created, let us think about life. Almost all living things on earth receive life from their fathers and mothers. The same is true for human beings. This shows that eternal life is given by God the Father and God the Mother.[7]
Family System
Father is a title used at home and refers to a man who has children. In order for a man to be called a father, he must have children. God is called Father because He has children. God calls His people who will be saved “My children.”
“I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
A father alone cannot have a child. It is a mother who conceives and gives life to the child. Without a mother, children do not exist; without children, a man cannot receive the title father. The title father necessitates the existence of a child and a mother. The title God the Father also proves the existence of God the Mother.
But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.
Comparatively, as the earthly family consists of a father, a mother, and their children, the heavenly family consists of God the Father, God the Mother, and Their children (saints).
Saviors in the Age of the Holy Spirit: the Spirit and the Bride
Heavenly Wedding Banquet
Apostle John wrote the book of Revelation after he saw what would take place in the future through a vision from God.[8] Among them, there is a revelation about the heavenly wedding banquet. It talks about how the wedding of the Lamb is to come, and how His bride has made herself ready. It says that those who are invited to the wedding banquet are blessed.
“For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.) Then the angel said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!’ "
The “Lamb” refers to Jesus.[9] When this prophecy was written, Jesus already ascended to heaven; therefore, this prophecy is about Jesus who comes a second time. “Those who are invited” represent God’s people who will be blessed with eternal life. The "bride" is the “wife of the Lamb” that appears alongside the bridegroom, the Lamb. In Revelation 21, the bride is the Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven.
One of the seven angels... came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” ... and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.
Heavenly Jerusalem represents God the Mother.[10] Apostle John described God the Mother coming to this earth as the Jerusalem “coming down out of heaven.” He also talks about the appearance of the bride at the heavenly wedding banquet.
This means that the heavenly wedding banquet is a prophecy that God the Father who is Second Coming Christ, and God the Mother who is His Bride, will come into this world and lead God’s people to salvation so that they can enjoy the glory of heaven.
The Spirit and the Bride Give the Water of Life
The Lamb and His bride in Revelation 19 are referred to as the Spirit and the Bride in Revelation 22.
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
This is a prophecy that the Spirit and the Bride will appear to give the water of life in the last days. Because the Trinity means that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one, the Spirit is God the Father; therefore, the Bride of the Spirit is God the Mother. The purpose of God the Father and God the Mother's coming is to give mankind the water of life, which leads to eternal life. In the Old Testament times, Jehovah gave the water of life,[11] and 2,000 years ago, Jesus gave the water of life.[12][13] In this last Age of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit and the Bride give the water of life. This means that God the Father and God the Mother are the Saviors in the Age of the Holy Spirit.
