Features
Established in April 2002, the Elohim Training Institute is located at the foot of Mt. Manisan in Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, where the majestic mountain ridges spread out like an eagle’s wings, offering breathtaking scenery throughout the year. Situated on a site of 28,502㎡, it includes three main auditoriums and various auxiliary facilities. Until the opening of the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute, it served as the representative training institute of the Church of God. The institute has hosted a wide range of events and gatherings, including Preaching Festivals for Young Adults, Foreign Language Bible Preaching Contests, Foreign Language Teacher Training, and Messiah Orchestra Music Camps.[1][2][3] Even after the establishment of the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute, it continues to be actively used for various educational programs and events.
At the foot of the mountain near the entrance of the training institute lies a vast orchard, evoking the warmth and charm of a generous, familiar hometown. The orchard, abundant with fruits such as apples, pears, and peaches, is a vibrant space where one can witness both God’s providence in creation and the laws of nature at work. Equipped with a variety of facilities, the Elohim Training Institute is a must-visit destination not only for members in Korea but also for overseas visiting groups. Members from various countries fully enjoy the unique Korean natural beauty surrounding the institute—spring blossoms, autumn foliage, seasonal fruits, and snowy landscapes—as well as a wide array of traditional cultural experiences.[4] The Elohim Training Institute also remains open and welcoming to local residents. To the right of the entrance, a hiking trail begins, attracting a steady stream of local residents and travelers who enjoy mountain hiking.[5] The training institute puts Christ’s love into action through a variety of community outreach efforts. It has delivered relief donations to assist flood victims severely affected by Typhoon Rusa and has consistently supported local government initiatives—such as the “Fuel Support for Senior Centers” campaign—by providing regular contributions.[6][7]
